I obviously didn’t take this picture…it’s from the 70′s when my mom was about 15 years old…but I’ve been working on archiving some old photos for my family and it’s been SO FUN going through all of them. I just love that my great-grandmother Mary (who was a photographer and author and all around awesome lady!) passed her passion for photography on through the generations leaving a trail of beautiful photographs…lucky me! I’ll have to come back and share some more when I get them archived :)

These last few weeks have been a whirlwind of parties, birthdays, family trips, 3 sick kids :( and of course work work work! but looking back on it all it was a wonderful time of celebration for Preston and Lorelai’s birthdays!! There are lots of pictures to share but I think I’ll start with some of the ones we took last month for their soda fountain party invite…
our little 5 minute photo shoot was a big treat for them since they got to have a soda!! I was able to find a few gluten free ones at whole foods…lucky kids ;)
